He modified the handlebar area and raised the back of the windshield up, to clear the tall handlebars. It's even got a scribe line where you can notch it to clear the master cylinder. See how clean this looks once mounted and painted? What are you waiting for?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"left\" class=\"bodytext\" style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThis fairing will not fit the older (pre-'98) model R1100 without modifications. The headlight on that model is smaller (7\") and not easily changed since the headlight mounting ears are connected to the instrument cluster.
