It is designed for rather tall steering head heights, so clip-ons don't have to be dropped too low when using it. This is a two piece assembly with the upper and lower separating in the vicinity of the engine's valve cover. Two bulges on the sides of the lower make it perfect for clearing large, multi-cylinder motors. It works well on Honda 500 and 750 fours, Kawasaki H2 and KZ900 and KZ1000, and Suzuki fours like the GS750 and GS1100. Even BMW Boxers can be covered since the bulges line up with the cylinder heads.
