This pressurized air box was originally designed in 93' and used by Dave Sadowski to win the coveted Formula USA Championship. It has undergone extensive testing and one complete design change. In other words, the thing has been sorted out. This air box requires the radiator be lowered one inch to fit the snorkel into position. Air is drawn from behind the steering head above the radiator into the upper portion of the box. Three plates in the upper keep the cool, dense air separate from the engine and radiatior heat. This patented design is guaranteed to give your CBR900 5-7% increase in horsepower on the top end. This Airtech design comes complete with all the mounting hardware brackets and washable UNI filter. Get more top end punch, get this airbox today. Dollar for dollar, this may well be the largest horsepower gain you can get for your greenbacks.

3ZX7R6A - 96/03 ZX7R AMA AIRBOX 3 SNORKEL

This is an AMA Superbike pressurized airbox for your Kawasaki ZX7R that brings air in from the standard right and left intake ducts and has a third snorkel that brings air in from between the top of the radiator and the bottom of the triple clamp. With this setup, the coils have to be relocated to properly fit the third intake. Comes with the duct trim. Not recommended for street use.

We designed this airbox in the early 90′ s for road racer Lee Shirts. This is one of our first experiments with pressurized air boxes. It helped give Lee so much horsepower the bike spit him off at Pomona and gave him his first concussion.

This panel takes and experienced fabricator to install. It is installed over the motor between the frame spars, and the bottom of the fuel tank acts as a lid so proper sealing (with weatherstripping material) is important. Cutting, drilling and trimming is required and the ignition coil has to be relocated. But, it is well worth the effort once you get it mounted. Expect to see horsepower increases in a range of 5-7%.
